National Domestic Violence Awareness Month

October marks National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, a nationwide initiative to increase understanding of domestic violence, honor survivors, and strengthen prevention efforts. 


MCCN reaffirms its commitment to supporting individuals and families impacted by domestic violence through access to care, critical resources, and community outreach. Together, we strive to promote safety, healing, and long-term wellbeing. 

National Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October is recognized as National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, dedicated to increasing awareness, promoting early detection, and supporting those affected by breast cancer. 


MCCN stands alongside patients, survivors, and families, offering care, education, and resources to advance prevention and encourage regular screenings for a healthier future. 

National Latinx AIDS Awareness Day

October 15 is observed as National Latinx AIDS Awareness Day, a time to raise awareness about the impact of HIV and AIDS within the Latinx community and to promote testing, prevention, and access to care. 


MCCN is committed to providing education, resources, and compassionate services to support individuals and families, reduce stigma, and advance health equity. 

Health Literacy Month

October is recognized as Health Literacy Month, highlighting the importance of making health information accessible and understandable for everyone.


MCCN is dedicated to empowering individuals and families with the knowledge and resources they need to make informed decisions, improve health outcomes, and build stronger, healthier communities. 

National Physical Therapy Month

October is celebrated as National Physical Therapy Month, recognizing the vital role physical therapists play in restoring movement, improving function, and enhancing quality of life. 


MCCN honors the dedication of these professionals and remains committed to connecting our community with services that promote healing, mobility, and overall wellness.
