Spooktacular Community Outreach – Town of Apple Valley ! On October 25, 2025, Mission City Community Network (MCCN) participated in the Town of Apple Valley’s annual Spooktacular Event, which welcomed over 1,000 attendees, making it the largest in recent years!
As part of the festivities, MCCN hosted a decorated trunk filled with Halloween treats and valuable health resources including hand sanitizers, stress balls, HIV awareness flyers, bandages, condoms, and lubricants.
This event was more than just spooky fun - it provided a wonderful opportunity to connect with families, promote wellness, and share information about important community health services.

Last month, MCCN had the privilege of joining the Newberry Springs Food & Commodity Giveaway, hosted by Mojave Trails Outreach and Food Pantry. This essential event provides vital food support to the Newberry Springs community, and we were honored to be a part of it.
Our team was on site offering free health screenings to community members. These quick health checks are a small but important step in making healthcare more accessible.
We're also helping connect individuals to ongoing healthcare services by offering enrollment opportunities, ensuring that everyone in our community can access the care they need, when they need it.

MCCN was proud to attend the Let’s Rise Together event hosted by the High Desert Black Worker Center (HDBWC), an inspiring gathering focused on career advancement, economic empowerment, and building stronger communities right here in the High Desert.
We were glad to connect with attendees and share information about our healthcare services. At MCCN, we know that access to healthcare is a vital part of career and personal growth, and we are here to support our community every step of the way.

MCCN was proud to attend the Backpack Giveaway at San Bernardino County Fairgrounds in Victorville, CA supporting families with school supplies, food, clothing, and health resources to help students start the school year strong. More than 500 backpacks were distributed at the events.
MCCN recently tabled outside Allcare Pharmacy in Victorville, CA, providing outreach and resources to local residents. Our team engaged with community members, shared important health information, and connected individuals to MCCN’s comprehensive healthcare services, strengthening our mission of building healthier communities together
